Alois started playing mbira in 1977 when his great grandfather began teaching him through dreams. Alois learned many songs
this way, giving him an incredible and unique style.
Florence Mutamba took to mbira like a natural and after just three months of learning with Alois, she was singing and playing like a pro. She is now one of the best young Mira players in the region.
